JC Penney's Birthday Anniversary

JOIN US! We are having a get together in front of the Penney Quilt shop to celebrate the 150th anniversary of JC Penney's birthday!We want to honor James Cash Penney on Tuesday, September 16th. Hamilton was his birthplace and honors his history with the Boyhood Home and Museum, the JC Penney Memorial Library and Museum along with the Penney High School and Penney Quilt Shop (formerly JCPenney Store #500)Come out and celebrate with a cupcake and a community photo!

Hamilton Farmer & Maker's Market Update

THANK YOU to all of the vendors that attended the 2025 Hamilton Farmers and Makers Market organizational meeting.The markets will be held every Saturday morning starting at 8:00 AM and on the 2nd Tuesdays of each month starting at 4:00 PM. The markets will be held in Penney Park in downtown Hamilton.Vendor registration forms are available at the Hamilton Library, Hamilton City Hall and at Allee Veterinary Services. Fees must be paid prior to set up.There will be a special Kids Market this year for kids 16 and under. Contact Dr. Allee at Allee Veterinary Services for details.The 2025 Hamilton Farmers and Makers Market will run from May thru October.
